Blog vs. Webpage

Communication between myself, parents, and students, is a critical part of teaching. I use a blog daily in my classroom. One of the biggest reasons that I do this is so that I can communicate with parents and students. I post daily assignments, agendas, and important information on my blog to and allow parents and students to be informed on what I am doing in my classroom and  to make communication effective. Parents and students can comment on my posts, then I can reply which is turn creates a dialog between myself and my viewers. On a website, the only person who communicates the is author of the site. There is no room for a viewer to comment. Therefore, a website is used to inform people of information, and a blog is used to be a means of communication between people.
